New “Intelligent” AC Fans Provide Temperature-Compensating Technology

: JARO Thermal’s new JDA series of AC fans optimizes temperature by intelligently sensing and regulating RPM levels inside the fan. Thus, as power inputs fluctuate, the fan automatically compensates by decreasing or increasing the fan output (cubic feet per minute). The result is a significant reduction in power consumption, noise and overall cost.

JARO Thermal MR-16 Coolers Utilize Aerospace Fluid-Bearing Technology
BOCA RATON, FL – November 7, 2011: Inspired by expertise from the Aerospace Industry, Jaro’s new tightly-designed MR-16 LED coolers optimize longevity and temperature with a highly-efficient fluid-bearing structure. At speeds of up to 4200RPM±15%, these DC coolers provide a chilly, yet quiet air-flow of 1.850CFM (min.: 1.573 CFM). Specifically designed for LED cooling applications, they are sized at 30mm x30mm x 7mm and operate from -20°C TO +90°C. Due to a perfectly balanced design (where the vibration grade = G1- ISO 1940 standard), these coolers operate with miniscule levels of detectable vibration. By avoiding mechanical friction, JARO’s AFB bearing provides an impressive 70,000 hours of long life at 40°C. In addition, less friction also offers a virtually-silent operation. Operating at a quiet 18.6dB (max.:20.6dB(A)), these coolers are at the cutting edge of low-level-noise performance.

Here Is how this new technology works: As the cooler starts to rotate, a high quality aerospace grease lubricates the chamber from the outside of the bearing - moving in. This forms a film between the shaft & bearing which greatly reduces friction & supports the rotating speed. Thanks to the high quality of its’ bearing technology, aerospace lubricant, and in house oil-impregnation method, JARO plans to be the industry leader for LED cooling. JARO Thermal Announces HoneycombTM Heatsink
Nature-based design optimizes ambiant air...
BOCA RATON, FL - June 7, 2011: Utilizing the science of real honey bees, JaroThermal's newest "Honeycomb heat sink" directs heat towards the outside, while producing a steady flow of cool air on the inside. Thanks to a multi-holed design and increased surface area, the Honeycomb optimizes cross ventilatation, while simulatanously cooling the surrounding amibiant air. Applications include a wide range of cooling solutions for video cards, motherboards and networking applications. JARO's adhesive mounted version eliminates the need for mounting holes in the PC Board.

Honeycomb heatsinks can be used with either plastic or metal/ceramic BGA packages, depending on thermal interface material that is used. JaroTherm's New AQUAS Meets IP58 Water-Proof' Standard
The new Aquas (AQ) line of dc fans now meet the waterproof and dustproof parameters of the IP 58 standard. Jaro's Aquas fans can withstand water jets from any direction and prevent the harmful ingress of dust. In addition, the new fans can withstand submersion at specified depths (exceeding 1 meter). These sturdy fans can also be manufactured to meet a variety of specific water-protection requirements. The products come in a variety of sizes, from 80mm x 80mm x 38mm up to 120mm x 38mm x 120mm. The fans are specifically designed to compensate for moist and dusty environments. Each fan maintains an operating temperature of -10 degrees C to +70 degrees C, with a life expectancy of 50,000 hours at 40 degrees C standard. The Aquas series targets applications with harsh environmental conditions and protects against direct or indirect sprays of water, extended exposure to salt spray, or in air containing fine dust particles. The AQ series can be fitted with a range of IP protected connectors, extended lead lengths, and threaded inserts - for difficult installations. Jaro Thermal's new 52 x 52 x 12 mm Neon fan/heatsink combination is both high performing and low profile. Due to a unique, synergistic marriage of fan to 'open fin' heat sink, the Neon series dissipates .275 watts / degrees C. This results in an exceptionally low thermal resistance. JaroThermals newest micro-sized fan has gotten even thinner! This incredibly tiny 'Super-Flow Micro' fan now measures 15 mmW x 15 mmH x 4mm Thin. This little 'windhorse' races along at a breezy 26,000rpm, while producing .3CFM of super-cooled air. This type of technology places JaroThermal at the forefront of the micro-cooling revolution.
